Neighbourhood Description
The neighbourhood was named after the transformation of San Giacomo’s name from the ancient Florentine language. The Church was located in the middle of the square but it has been destroyed during World War II.
The area is well connected to the city center and to all the Universities of Florence thanks to several bus lines. You can also reach the city center within 15 minutes walk. The square has a simple local appearance, with a few grocery stores and few affordable restaurants with homemade kitchen.
