Which documents are required in order to get the Empadronamiento? This is what you need to take with you on the day of your appointment:
- ID / Passport / Spanish DNI or NIE for EU citizens or Spanish citizens
- Passport and Residency card for non-EU citizens.
- Registration form: click here and in the “Impresos” section, you will find the pdf “Solicitud Certificado de Empadronamiento” you need to download, fill and hand over on the day of your appointment.
- Contract of the property in case you are the owner (original + copy).
- Current rental agreement in case you are a lessee of the house/room. Moreover you need to provide the last utilities bill or bank transfer.
- In case the rental contract is not in your name (e.g you are living with your partner), the person who’s in charge of the contract has to fill an authorization form: click here and in the “Impresos” section, you will find the pdf “Autorización...” you need to download, fill and hand over on the day of your appointment.
Moreover, on that date, you will have to provide the original identification documents of the person who is in charge of the contract.
