Neighbourhood Description
The apartment is located in Valdeacederas, a neighborhood in the district of Tetuán, north-east of Madrid. This area, recently renovated, is a quiet place, away from the tourist crowds of the city center, but still enriched with stores, commercial activities and much more. It is endowed with various facilities such as schools, parks and shopping centers, making it an attractive place for young people with easy access to all kinds of services.
The area is known for its variety of local eating and drinking establishments, the large number of which have made the area recognized as a restaurant district. There are also numerous stores, bars and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity.
Main spots
- Mercado de Maravillas: is a Madrid food market located on Bravo Murillo street, well known for having national and international food stalls, as well as several stores and bars.
- Parque del Cuarto Depósito: urban park, with rose gardens that bloom in season, remarkable exhibits in an old water tower and views of skyscrapers.
- Canal Foundation: high-tech exhibition hall, with vaulted galleries hosting concerts, workshops and art shows.
- Agustín Rodríguez Sahagún Park: 18-hectare park consisting of meadows and a wide variety of tree species. It is endowed with several recreational areas, children's areas, areas for the elderly and canine areas. It has different sports facilities, including a regulated soccer field, an auditorium and a bike path that runs through most of its surface.
Getting around
Just 4 minutes walking distance from Valdeacederas station, which connects to the metro line 1, giving easy access to the center and north of Madrid.
Just one subway station away, 10 minutes, is the most important and largest transport interchange in the north of the city, Plaza Castilla station, where lines 1, 9 and 10 of the subway and multiple bus lines converge.

With an affordable monthly subscription, approximately 10€, it allows access to a network of more than 611 bike stations distributed throughout the city. Just 2 minutes away at Calle Simancas 2 you have a station where you can take a bike to explore the city and then, when you arrive at your destination, park it at any nearby station, guaranteeing an agile and practical mobility at all times.
