Rooms in shared flats in Valencia

By now, you know that flat-hunting is the most important part of this great journey such as an Erasmus program: many things to keep in mind (budget, area, transportation) and not much time to set everything.

Our first tip is renting a room in a shared flat, since it’s you’ll have all the advantages: not only your own room and privacy, but also the chance to share incredible moments with your flatmates.

Get a Spanish SIM card

We guess that all of your family and friends back home are curious about how your Erasmus in Valencia will look like! Therefore, keep sharing the best memories with them. First, before your arrival, check if your mobile phone plan is valid in Spain. The European citizens shouldn’t have many problems (just reduced data), but Non-EU students will have to look for new deals: you can choose a prepaid card or a contract. We suggest you Lycamobile, Vodafone, Orange, Movistar, etc. 

Obtain a NIE in Spain

Being an Erasmus student in Valencia is as easy as drinking a coffee - in terms of legality - but, if you want to extend your stay after your study exchange period or wish to find a job in here, you should know how to get legal and obtain the NIE in Spain - within 90 days - (or TIE if you’re not European, as soon as possible).
