Ibiza is well known as one of the best party islands all over the world, but what many people aren’t aware of, is that Ibiza is a natural heaven, boasting a uniquely peaceful and relaxing environment. Both young and old people can fit into the island life: you can enjoy the quiet nature in the northern side, or the best parties in the city and the beach bars. But, since it is an island, unfortunately it is quite interesting to visit it just in a specific season (the European summer). Therefore, you are wondering: when is the best time to travel to Ibiza? We think it is from May to October, when temperatures change from the spring breeze ,up to 25 degrees, to the summer hot, up to 40 degrees.

The best month to go to Ibiza  

May

May is a perfect month to visit Ibiza in its wildest soul. You’ll experience a calm environment, where to enjoy nature without it being crowded and chaotic. What about the party? No worries, on the last day of May you have the chance to live many cool opening parties. While the start of the month it is quite chill and the prices are cheap.

June

By the beginning of the month, people on the island notice a higher income of tourists (especially Spanish people and tourist from Northern Europe). Prices are still good and the weather it’s just perfect! Moreover, most of the clubs are active and ready to warm up the island. We think that June is the best month to go to Ibiza and to keep things affordable.

July and August

These two are by far the most popular months in Ibiza. What to expect? The hottest weather, for sure, and the best events of all summer! In this moment, you could experience a colossal atmosphere, legendary parties and magical nights. On the other hand, it will be a little tough to enjoy the wild nature, the sandy beaches and the crystal clear waters, since crowds are everywhere. 

September

Do you think summer is over? When it comes to Ibiza, the party doesn’t stop. Much like in June, September is a good time to experience Ibiza, places are less chaotic, prices cheaper and beaches great. But it doesn’t mean that you won’t find some great fun. Actually, you’ll have the chance to live great closing parties with some worldwide famous Dj’s until the first weekend of October.

Enjoy the island: how many days you need in Ibiza

Ibiza for newbies: if it's your first time in this enchanting island we are sure you want to see it all. That’s why our tip is to spend here between 5 and 7 days. Then you’ll be able to explore the most beautiful beaches (Aigües Blanques, Cala Salada, Cala Bassa, Cala Conta, Ses Salines, Cala Benirrás), visit the old town, the iconic churches and traditional houses, eat in the best restaurants, enter the greatest clubs, have a quick day-escape to Formentera. And also, you can experience unforgettable sunsets by different famous viewpoints in the Island such as Cala Conta, Khumaras, Cala d’Hort or Cala Tarida.

If you can’t spend this much time in Ibiza and you have available from 48 up to 72 hours, these are the things that you should include in your schedule: parties (Ushuaia is a must!), some great beaches such as the Ses Salines and then go to the harbour of the island to spend a magical evening. 

An experience that you can’t miss in any case, also is a boat trip (with party included!).

Cost of a week in Ibiza 

It’s not easy to calculate how to spend on a trip to Ibiza, since everything depends on the style of your holiday. The average “package” holiday can be 800€ minimum, if your week won’t include many expensive dining experiences or alternative activities. The entry to the top clubs can cost you up to 70 € and the price of the drinks can start at 15€.

The secret is to go on a trip with many friends and split the expenses. Sharing a flat always is a good idea!
